A Special Commission.

This 20inch charger was designed especially to fit into a fireplace. The customers chose the glazes that they liked and fitted in with the decor. I really loved designing this plate, it came from my love of flowers and fauna, and just flowed as I worked on it.

A Few Summer Months Exploring Picasso.

It has been a very exciting time developing designs from Picasso. His paintings hold wonderful shapes just right to paint on a plate. I have had great fun painting glazes on top of each other to achieve different textures and lovely mixtures of colour. At present I am inspired by his musicians and developing a range ready for an art exhibition in Shaftsbury.

Inspired by Picasso. 14 inch plate

New Designs now on the drawing board .

After a wonderful month away, touring the North Island in New Zealand , I have come home full of inspired ideas.
I have started work on some hand built tiles, also I have a new design for a range of large vases that have just been made for me.
There is no DAW this year but an ART TRAIL is being set up for the end of MAY.

Spring 2013

A ,"V" shaped vase  in various shades of Blues, Turqoise and Purple.
Also a "Pin " vase with splashes of Greens, Yellows and swirls of red s and Blues.
