It has been a very good year for my Pottery .
The last entry was the DAWs in June, which many of you visited. It was a very rewarding time with most people buying a piece to take home with them.
I really enjoyed having time to sit in the garden and chat to so many people, and sell at the same time. I was also able to carry on designing the "Halla Collection" and fire them to keep up with so many selling.
2010 saw a new addition to the "Halla Collection" called the "Bluebirds".
It has sold very well and I now only have a large "Pitcher Jug" left. I shall be designing a different selection of flowers to add to the "Halla Collection " for 2011,and want to add a red Deer to the design. Something I have to work on.
This year I have been commissioned to design a set of "Planet Plates", which I am loving doing.
At the present time I am on the Planet Jupiter, I start the year off with "Planet Pluto".
During 2011 I shall be opening my studio , I shall open at the end of MAY.
My studio and workshop is always open for a visit if you so wish, but please ring 01258 455187
to make sure I am in .
THANK YOU TO EVERY ONE FOR VISITING ME THIS YEAR AND SUPPORTING ME DURING DAW. HAPPY NEW YEAR, TO YOU ALL.

DAW 2010
I shall be particapating in 2010 Dorset Art Weeks again this year . It will be my 3rd DAW opening. I shall have a good selection of my different style ceramics.
At the moment I am working on some very large "Charger" plates. They take a week to complete as I fire them more than twice.
Along side the larger items I am making & designing more of the "Halla" collection, the range will include all of my favorite flowers, so its an ever changing pattern.
I have also made dozens of coloured beads, this is a new venture & it is nice to see them all mixing & matching in the rich glazes as I go along, (although very time consuming).
More photos will be posted soon.

A day in the studio.
Have sold a 4 tile panel in the "Cove Gallery" Weymouth, so to day I have designed another one to take its place. Have also finished a large 16inch plate in an abstract poppy design. Its on a red glazed base with yellow glaze that will burst through the red poppies, hopefully! It has been a good day,

My Outlets.
I have my work displayed in beautiful locations throughout Dorset.
They are all worth a visit, a good excuse for a day out and a wander around the towns and villages.
